You know the summer is on it’s way when the advance sale of season tickets for Salzburg’s 3 open-air swimming pools gets underway. Season tickets are on sale until 28th April (tomorrow) from 10am until 6pm at any of the 3 pools:
A family season ticket is great value at only €77.10 (including your children up to 18) plus €3.00 per chip (one per family member). At rates like these, this is the must have accessory of the summer.
A full price list can be found here. Salzburg Pool Price List
Leopoldskron and Volksgarten open on 1st May while Alpenstrasse opens on 29th April. Let’s hope the sun arrived soon so we can take advantage of the pools.
The season tickets will still be available after this week.
Links to the 3 pools are as follows:
Leopoldskron Pool has 53,000 square meters of space with 3,200 square meters of pool. They have a 72m long slide as well as lots of diving boards, islands and a cool kids area. This is also the only pool with a Disabled Pool Lift. Opening hours will be 9am to 7pm daily.
Volksgarten Pool has a new Beach Volley Ball pitch this year and the kids area has had a sail shade added to protect you from the sun. On 12,800 square meters of space, there are two swimming pools, one kid’s pool and a baby pool. The pool will also be open from 9am until 7pm daily.
Alpenstrasse Pool is the smallest of the three and will open daily during the summer from 7am to 7pm and in September from 9am to 7pm. The rest of the indoor facilities do of course remain open throughout the summer.
